Hello! I'm Alyssa, a wife, mother, and native of Portland Oregon.  I am a homebody by nature and love snuggling up with my husband and three boys. Family is everything to me! I still remember the first time I saw my husband's 16 year old mop of curly hair at a youth group community outreach, his bright eyes and charming dimples were instantly alluring. A year of friendship, followed by 6 1/2 years of dating later, we got hitched and the rest is history. We had our first child, Ezra, in 2016, Solomon, in 2018, and Moses in 2020. I am driven by my family and love being around them. To grow old(er) is a privilege denied to many, and that is why as a photographer I love doing what I do- capturing a snapshot in life, a moment that has never occurred before and will never repeat itself. Life is beautiful, and I love to be able to freeze time and encapsulate treasured moments.

I like to take a bit of a lifestyle approach to my photography, capturing real moments that happen in-between  'poses' or 'say cheese!' I want to be able to capture you in your natural environment, reflecting exactly who you and your loved ones are in that very moment. I want to give families something of an heirloom to look back on. I want my families to look at the photos of themselves and be filled with joy, and for the children to grow up having these photos be represented in their homes, as a marker of the love they have for one another. I am so honored each and every time I am welcomed in to photograph a family together!! ❤️
